Jason A. Cherchia is an associate in the Firm’s Local Government, Land Use, and Tax and Estate Planning Departments. He has extensive experience practicing before the Tax Court of New Jersey and litigating real estate tax appeals. His practice includes advising clients in the areas of tax and municipal law in order to achieve favorable outcomes in tax appeal litigation, land use variances, property redevelopment, formation of business entities, and estate planning.
Prior to joining the Firm, Jason worked in private practice representing municipal clients in a wide range of legal issues before the Tax Court and Superior Court of New Jersey. Previously, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Joseph M. Andresini, P.J.T.C. of the Tax Court of New Jersey.
Jason earned his JD degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and his LLM in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the George Washington University.
