John B. Stephenson is an associate in the Firm’s Tax and Estate Planning Department. His practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and charitable planning as well as related estate litigation. He advises clients in the creation and implementation of estate plans that effectively represent his client’s personal wishes with respect to the disposition of assets while employing wealth preservation strategies.
Prior to joining Beattie Padovano, Mr. Stephenson worked in private practice in southern New Jersey focusing on estate planning, probate and intestate administration, guardianships and represented clients in a wide range of estate related litigation including accounting disputes, claims against fiduciaries, will contests, guardianship disputes and claims for elective share. He also served as a Judicial Fellow to the Honorable Charles A. Ehrlich in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas-Trial Division-Criminal, where he wrote memoranda of law and drafted opinions.
Mr. Stephenson is a 2014 graduate of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, cum laude. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2009 from Ursinus College.
