Sexual harassment, wrongful discharge and disability claims are on the rise. The employment law practice group of Beattie Padovano, LLC advises its clients in the common law of employment discrimination in addition to statutory and regulatory obligations under laws as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Title VII of the federal Civil Rights Law, including analogous state laws.
In addition, the firm also provides legal counsel to business clients on human resource policies and procedures, employment agreements, separation agreements, and executive compensation generally, dealing with employee performance and misconduct issues, advice on conducting HR investigations and in the litigation of employee claims. The Firm also advises clients on COBRA rights, ERISA rights, and employee benefits.
