What inspired you to pursue a career as an attorney?
It was my husband who inspired me to pursue this career path; he believed in my academic ability, and also felt that my capacity to solve problems quickly and succinctly would make me a successful attorney.
What do you most enjoy about working with your team at Beattie Padovano, LLC?
I really enjoy the professional and personal relationships that I have developed with my colleagues at Beattie Padovano, and I am grateful for the support each one provides in my practice as well as other areas handled by our firm.
What types of cases are especially meaningful or rewarding for you, and why?
Because I am a transactional attorney, I am able to relate to my clients on a non-adversarial basis, which fosters the development of excellent relationships. As a result, clients return time and again.
What is your favorite part about working in Northern New Jersey?
As a resident of Warwick, New York, I must say that my favorite part about working in Northern New Jersey is the striking contrast between the rural character of my home area and the suburban setting of my professional life.
Please share a fun fact about yourself!
My grandsons, ages 16 and 11, live in Florida; both are elite tennis players who are ranked nationally (the16-year-old, in fact, is ranked internationally!) I hope to see one or both of them play in a professional tennis tournament in the future.
On another note, I consider myself something of an equine behaviorist. I make mean horses nice through a combination of consistency, patience, connection, and love. I am also a canine enthusiast.
What advice would you give to an aspiring attorney?
My advice to an aspiring attorney is to believe in yourself, be prepared to work hard and long, and keep your word to others.
