Cristin Keegan is Counsel in Beattie Padovano's Corporate, Commercial & Banking group. Her practice focuses on corporate law, commercial real estate and intellectual property.

Cristin's corporate practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganization, and general company counseling such as organization, incorporation and drafting by-laws, shareholders agreements, operating agreements, and associated corporate documents. Her commercial real estate experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements and leases for a wide range of clients, from sole proprietors to multinational publicly traded corporations. She also advises clients on a variety of intellectual property matters with an emphasis on trademark registration, maintenance and protection.

Before joining Beattie Padovano, Cristin was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Dorothea O’C. Wefing, Presiding Judge for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Cristin received her B.A. in English from Providence College and received her J.D. from Seton Hall University. While in law school, she served as senior editor of the Seton Hall Law Review and President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society.  Prior to attending law school, she was a technical associate at MSNBC.  She is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association.

UPDATE: The Corporate Transparency Act – No Enforcement Against US Citizens or Companies
