Emery Duell has more than 47 years of experience in the area of tax law and estate planning.  He has special expertise with corporate and limited liability entities, estate planning and administration.  In addition, he has handled numerable commercial real estate transactions, providing counsel to, among others, small business clients with purchases and/or sales.  He is known for his dedication to achieving the desired results on behalf of his clients expeditiously and effectively.

Admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York, Emery has represented clients on a full range of trust and estate issues including probate, intestate administration proceedings, estate administration, kinship matters, Will contests, fiduciary accountings, trust administration, and estate taxes.

Over the course of his career, Emery has authored articles on topics which include the inheritance taxes of stepgrandchildren, Will contests, subchapter S corporations and matrimonial aspects of individual retirement accounts.

Emery’s active community involvement includes his membership in the Saddle River Lions Club where he was twice elected President and was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award evidencing service in Lionism.  He is a member of the Sports Car Club of America with an active national Flagging and Communication license, the BMW CCA and the New Jersey Triumph Association.
