Demetria (Demi) Bogosian Fable is an associate in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation & Appeals department. Her practice includes all areas of civil litigation with a focus on complex commercial litigation and estate litigation.
Demi is a member of the Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court; American Bar Association; New Jersey State Bar Association; Bergen County Bar Association; Young Lawyers’ Division. She is co-chair of the Bergen County Bar Association Corporate Business Law Committee. She is also a member of the River Vale Joint Planning Board and the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to joining Beattie Padovano, Demi clerked for the Honorable Michael N. Beukas, J.S.C., Superior Court, Bergen County and worked at another Bergen County law firm.
Demi is a 2020 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Monmouth University in 2016, where she was a member of Delta Phi Epsilon and the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

- Represents beneficiaries under a Will against claims of undue influence and lack of capacity where valuable real estate was left to the only care-taking child.
- Represents a manufacturer in federal litigation against a leading competitor involving misappropriation of trade secrets and claims under the Lanham Act and Sherman Act.
- Represents purchaser of commercial real estate in an action alleging breach of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and related violations.
- Represents a landowner asserting various contract, tort, and Takings claims arising out interference with the development of a 200+ acre mixed-use Mr. Laurel development.
- Represents national engineering and architectural firm in action against former employee/shareholder for violation of shareholder agreement and non-compete/non-solicitation agreement.
- Represents landlord in Federal Court alleging claims for breach of lease resulting in millions of dollars of unpaid rent and additional rent, against major restaurant chain defendants.
- Represents employee in action against major pharmaceutical employer in case involving claims for sexual assault and discrimination.
- Represented shareholders in a series of litigations brought in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and other tribunals concerning breach of fiduciary duty and related corporate mismanagement wherein the shareholders sought disgorgement under New York’s Faithless Servant Doctrine of cash compensation and a valuable option from the subject LLC’s chief executive.
- Represented retailer in federal court defending against ADA and New York Human Rights Law claims based on website accessibility.
- Represented institutional landlord in defending various claims brought by community organized tenant class, including claims under New Jersey’s Multifamily Housing Preservation and Receivership Act.
- Represented defendant/respondents in the New Jersey Supreme Court of New Jersey in real property dispute regarding ownership of landlocked right-of-way.
- Represented concerned citizen group in Petition for Certification before Supreme Court of New Jersey with respect to the interpretation of Land Development Regulations.
- Represented individual and corporate defendants in intrafamily business disputes claiming breach of fiduciary duties and misappropriation of inventory.
